West Texas A&M Student-Athlete Advisory Committee
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) has been purposeful to engage on campus and in our local community. Some of our involvement projects are promoting awareness for suicide prevention and mental health on campus, helping with food drives, and volunteering at No Excuses Night at Margaret Wills Elementary School. One of our favorite places to serve is at Snack Pack 4 Kids in Amarillo, whether it be packing bags for kids in need of weekend food or working in the garden, it is always a rewarding place to give back. SAAC continues to help with the annual campus Trunk or Treat and many other campus events. Our goal is to serve where we can, when we can, and however we can.
