DENTON, Texas – The West Texas A&M women's golf team finished eighth in a highly competitive DBU Women's Classic field on Tuesday. The Lady Buffs ended the tournament with a team score of 17-over par, 881, while Dallas Baptist and Findlay tied for the title at one-under. Findlay took home the team title and won the tournament after a one-hole playoff.
 
Gam Songprasert ended the three-day tournament tied for 14^th after turning in a third-round score of two-over 74. Lorenza Perini and Anna Nomrowski finished tied for 24^th at five-over, 221. Nomrowski improved her position by 24 spots after carding a score of one-under in the final round. Rylie Cook also climbed the leaderboard after posting a score of even par, ending the tournament tied for 34^th at seven-over, 223. Sarah Reed, one stroke back of Cook, landed tied for 37^th with a score of eight-over, 224. Antonella Periotti Omisolo rounded out the Lady Buffs at 10-over, 226, finishing tied for 46^th.
