WGCA Preseason Poll
 
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The West Texas A&M women's golf team earned the No. 4 ranking in the Women's Golf Association Preseason Coaches Poll. Fellow Lone Star Conference member Dallas Baptist took the top spot in the poll.
 
Defending NCAA Champion Dallas Baptist University opens the season atop the Division II rankings after receiving all but one first-place vote, followed by Lynn University at No. 2. Last year's NCAA Runner-Up Nova Southeastern University begins the season at No. 3, while the Lady Buffs received one first-place vote to come in at No. 4. Rounding out the top-five is University of Findlay. 
 
 
WT, the defending Lone Star Conference champions, finished the 2022-23 season with 12 top-10 finishes including six tournament victories. The Lady Buffs open the 2023-24 season at The Swan Memorial in Broomfield, Colo. on Sept. 8-9.
