RICHARDSON, Texas – West Texas A&M standouts
Julius Brown and
Torrey Miller were named to the Lone Star Conference Athletic Performance All-Conference Team on Tuesday afternoon.Â

The team recognizes student-athletes who excel in work ethic, dedication to process, attendance, communication, leadership, and growth. The individual awards are voted upon by the league's athletic performance staff.

Brown, a Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-American, helped the Buffs to an appearance in the South Central Regional title game during the 2022-23 season. The Westerville, Ohio native paced WT in scoring, assists, and steals this season while earning Lone Star Conference Player of the Year, All-Defensive Team, First Team All-Conference, and D2CCA First Team All-Region.

Miller, a starting outside hitter for the Lady Buff Volleyball National Championship team, led the Lady Buffs in kills (479), kills per set (3.77), and points (557.5) for the historic 2022 season. She adds the Performance All-Conference team to her resume in addition to being named the NCAA Division II Most Valuable Player of the NCAA DII Tournament along with LSC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year, South Central Region All-Tournament team and Most Valuable Player, LSC First Team All-Conference, LSC Offensive Player of the Year and LSC Conference All-Tournament and Most Valuable Player.
