CANYON, Texas – A pair of Buffaloes have been honored for their efforts on the diamond as the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) announced their annual postseason awards on Wednesday morning.

Nick Marshall picked up Second Team accolades while senior infielder
Adam Becker was named the South Central Region Player of the Year as well as a First Team All-Region honoree to move onto the D2CCA All-American ballot.

Becker, the two-time LSC Player of the Year, became one of the best hitters in Division II baseball over the last two seasons in Maroon & White as the Midland product hit .420 this season with 22 doubles, two triples and 15 homeruns to drive in 74 RBI with 160 total bases for a slugging percentage of .755. Becker becomes just the fourth student-athlete in LSC history to be named the league's Player of the Year multiple times.

Marshall continued to dominate as WT's game one starter this past season, going 8-1 on the season with a 4.50 ERA as the junior from Antigo, Wisconsin allowed 45 runs (38 earned) on 85 hits with 33 walks and 76 strikeouts during his 76.0 innings of work for an opposing batting average of .282. Marshall sits tied for third on the program's all-time wins list (19) entering his senior campaign in 2024.Â
