Ruby Salzman and
Emilee Boyer earned first team Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-South Central Region honors on Tuesday. Additionally,
Kyra Lair,
Gabie McConnell, and
Brittni Rufus earned spots on the second team.

Salzman enters the NCAA South Central Super Regionals with a .395 batting average. On the season, the senior outfielder has 16 doubles, two triples, and 22 home runs with 56 RBIs. Throughout the year, Salzman has advanced her position in almost every offensive category in the WT program record book. Boyer, the 2023 Freshman of the Year, is hitting .310 at the plate with seven doubles and 15 home runs. The Harrisburg, S.D. native is 18-2 on the year in the circle and holds a 2.29 ERA with 92 strikeouts over 104 innings.

Lair earns D2CCA honors for the first time in Maroon and White after posting an 18-2 record with 134 strikeouts in 131 innings pitched. McConnell, a second team all-conference selection, goes into the Super Regional with a .371 batting average, 13 doubles, and a home run out of the leadoff spot in the order. Rufus earns second team accolades for the second year in a row, posting a .382 batting average with six doubles, seven triples, and six home runs on the season.

The No. 9 Lady Buffs travel to No. 3 UT Tyler for the South Central Super Regionals starting on Thursday. Game one is scheduled for 4 p.m. with game two set for Friday at 3 p.m. An if-necessary game will be played following the conclusion of game two.
