The West Texas A&M University men's and women's cross country teams will be competing at the Angelo State University Blue and Gold Classic, Tuesday, Oct. 14 at San Angelo, Texas.

The Buffalo men won the meet last year and will attempt to defend their team-title on the five-mile course.

The gun sounds for the women's five-kilometer race at 5:10 p.m., while the men begin their five-mile trek at 5:45 p.m.

The Lady Buff women will be part of a field that includes LSC foes host-Angelo State and Tarleton State, along with Sol Ross State.

The men's field will be made up by host-Angelo State, Tarleton State, Sol Ross State, Wayland Baptist and WTAMU.

In their last meet, at the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree last Saturday, the Buffs were led by sophomore Eduardo Hernandez, who finished in 94th-place with a time of 28:56.

The Lady Buffs were led by senior Jami Hutcherson, who finished in 84th-place, recording a time of 21:35.
