West Texas A&M University cross country coach Kimberly Dudley has announced that Sara McCombs will join the WTAMU program in the Fall of 2004. McCombs joins the Lady Buff harriers from Colorado High School in Colorado City, Texas.

As a senior, McCombs won the cross country District 3-2A meet, while also winning District in the 2 mile and 800 meter track and field competition. McCombs also advanced to regionals in cross country and track and field in all four years in high school.

McCombs is the second runner to sign with the Lady Buff cross country program as part of the 2004 recruiting class, joining Jisel Bailon from El Paso, Texas.
