West Texas A&M University cross country coach Kimberly Dudley has announced that Jisel Bailon will join the WTAMU program in the Fall of 2004. Balion joins the Lady Buff harriers from Del Valle High School in El Paso, Texas.

As a senior, Bailon earned All-District honors, while being named to the All-Region Team and 2nd-Team All-City. Bailon was 23rd overall, helping the Conquistadors capture the State 4A Championship. She also won the individual district championship as a junior. Bailon also runs track & field for Del Valle, winning the 1600m & 3200m as a junior.
