The West Texas A&M University women's cross country team finished in third place with 89 points on Tuesday in its final outing before the LSC meet on Oct. 25.

Angleo State swept the top two spots as Trista McIntyre took first place followed by teammate Becca Graupman in second place.

The Lady Buffs' top finisher was senior Jami Hutcherson placing 12 out of 27 runners. Hutcherson finished with a time of 22:00, just under two minutes behind the leader. WTAMU had runners place in 12, 19, 20, 21 and 28 place respectively.
