Results

ABILENE, Texas - The West Texas A&M Lady Buff cross country team racked up 65 total points to take third place at the Naimadu Classic held on the campus of Abilene Christian University on Saturday morning.

Aries Bazaldua (FR, Canyon, Texas) placed eighth overall with a time of 15:24 to lead the field of Lady Buff runners. Allie Reyna (SO, Ralls, Texas) was next with a time of 15:43 and a 10th place finish.

Jessica Blakeley (FR, Hereford, Texas) placed 14th with a time of 16:00 followed by Nicole Hudgens (FR, Kaufman, Texas) with a 16:23 and Eddah Toroitich (SO, Iten, Kenya) with a 16:31 to place in 23rd and 24th respectively.

Fellow WT runners Brieana Garcia (FR, Canyon, Texas) finished in 30th with a time of 16:45 to round out the Lady Buff field.

The Lady Buffs are set to host the Lathrop Memorial High School Meet on Oct. 17 before taking part in the Lone Star Conference Championship meet on Oct. 24 held on the campus of West Texas A&M starting at 9:30 a.m.
