Lady Buffs Set To Play Pittsburg State In The NCAA Division II Playoffs

CANYON, Texas - The West Texas A&M Lady Buffs will be making their fourth-consecutive trip to the NCAA Division II Volleyball Playoffs.  The Lady Buffs, 32-4 and 13-0 in the LSC this season, were selected as a number-five seed in the NCAA South Central Region and will play fourth-seed Pittsburg State (28-7) this week.

The winner of the game advances to the second round to play the winner of first-seed Emporia (32-3) and eighth-seed Texas Permian Basin (21-13).

The rest of the region includes No. 2 Truman against No. 7 Nebraska-Kearney in the first round with the victor playing the winner of No. 3 seed Washburn and No. 6 seed Central Missouri in the second round.

Regional tournament action begins on Friday, Nov. 21 and continues through Sunday, Nov. 23.
