West Texas A&M Tops LSC All-Conference Honors

CANYON, Texas - Lone Star Conference regular season champion West Texas A&M had four first-team selections on the All-LSC volleyball team announced by league officials Wednesday evening during a banquet at the LSC Championship.

WTAMU, which posted a flawless 13-0 league record and is hosting of the LSC Volleyball Championship that continues today and tomorrow, had a total of seven honorees. Laura Prinsen, Katie Rickwartz, Melissa Harper and Sara Contreras earned first team honors, while Ashley Dyer, Lauren Thedford and Natalie Johnson were honorable mention selections.

Additionally, Prinsen was tabbed Offensive Player of the Year, Rickwartz was Setter of the Year and Contreras was Co-Libero of the Year in the balloting of LSC head coaches.
