The Teams
The WTAMU Lady Buffs are 11-7 overall and are hoping they can build some momentum off of last weekend's victories. The Lady Buffs won three in a row for the first time since the opening weekend of the season. The three wins snapped a three-match losing skid.

WTAMU opened the LSC Crossover Tournament in fine form defeating Texas A&M University-Commerce, 3-0, Friday night. The competition got a little tougher on Saturday, but the Lady Buffs held strong to defeat Texas Woman's, 3-2, and Midwestern State, 3-1, as WTAMU improved to 18-0 all-time in LSC Crossover play.

The Abilene Christian Wildcats carry a 14-5 record into Thursday's match after a successful showing at the LSC Crossover Tournament sweeping all three of their opponents and running their winning streak to eight-straight matches. The last time that ACU lost was back on Sept. 10 when the Wildcats were swept at St. Mary's University. In the month of September, the Wildcats have only conceded 11 games to their opponents.

The Angelo State Rambelles are 13-4 on the season so far. The Rambelles have won six out of their last seven matches with the lone loss coming at the LSC Crossover Tournament, where they were swept by Central Oklahoma. The six-match streak was the team's longest winning streak of the season.
