The No. 22 Lady Buff Volleyball team will put its national-ranking to the test this weekend at the Cameron University Coca-Cola Classic.

The West Texas A&M University volleyball team, ranked No. 22 in the AVCA Preseason Poll, enters its third tournament of the season on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 10-11, by traveling to Lawton, Okla., to compete at the Cameron Coca-Cola Classic hosted by Cameron University.

Diabetes strikes over 13, 000 children every year in the USA. That's why the Cameron University women's volleyball team has partnered with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to help fight this chronic, debilitating diseases. All gate receipts from the match will be donated to the JDRF and its efforts to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research.

The Lady Buffs will participate in tournament play on Friday Sept. 10 and Saturday Sept. 11. WTAMU will open play on Friday facing Missouri Southern at noon with its second match against the host team and LSC competitor Cameron University at 7 p.m. The Lady Buffs will wrap up the tournament Saturday in their final match Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. when they take on fellow LSC opponent Central Oklahoma.
