Lady Buff Volleyball Is Dropped By Harding University, 3-0

The West Texas A&M University volleyball team lost to Harding University Saturday, 3-0, (20-30, 26-30, 24-30). This is only the second time these two teams have faced each other and with the loss, Harding has now evened the all-time series at one a piece.
The Lady Buffs were just simply out played by the Lady Bisons as they hit .344 as a team to WTAMU's .173. HU hit an impressive .531 in the first game, only commiting one error.
Errors continue to be the Lady Buff's Achilles heel as they commited 22 attacking errors and seven service errors. On the other hand, the Lady Bisons only recorded nine attacking errors and two service errors. HU had three players hitting above 300 and all three players recorded double-digit kills. They were led by Kate Kennedy who hit a .522 for the match recording 13 kills, one error on 23 attacks.
Sophomore outside hitter Jessica Scherr was the lone WTAMU player recording double-digit kills on the afternoon as she tallied 11 kills, one error and 32 attacks while hitting .312. Junior middle blocker Cynthia Carter continues to lead the Lady Buffs in attacking percentage as she hit .333 while pounding nine kills, three errors on 18 attacks.
WTAMU has lost five of its last seven matches and has been swept in the last three matches. The Lady Buffs are now 17-14 on the season. WTAMU plays the second match of the day tonight at 6 p.m. against Dallas Baptist University.
