STEPHENVILLE, Texas -- The West Texas A&M University volleyball dropped Tarleton State University in four-games Thursday (28-30, 30-15, 30-21, 30-26), as the Lady Buffs won their fifth-straight match and improved to 22-0 all-time vs. the TexAnns.

WTAMU is now 22-6 overall and 5-1 in Lone Star Conference play. TSU, which has now lost nine of its last 11 matches, falls to 8-19 overall, 0-6 in the LSC.

Freshman outside hitter/middle blocker Ambra Clark led four Lady Buffs in double-digit kills. Clark tied a match-high with 13 kills, to go along with three blocks. Fellow freshmen, outside hitters Rachel Altman and Jessica Scherr tallied 10 kills apiece.

Senior setter Kendra Morgan also had 10 kills, along with a match-high 37 assists. Morgan, who leads the LSC in hitting percentage, hit at a .474 clip Thursday night.

Senior libero Kacie Hyatt logged a match-high 18 digs and sophomore defensive specialist Brittani Bell was right behind with 17 digs. Scherr added 10 digs.

WTAMU hit .248 as a team, including .458 in game three. Meanwhile, the Lady Buff defense limited the TexAnns to .122 hitting, including -.103 in game two and .085 in the fourth game.

TSU's Crystal White tied Clark for the match-high with 13 digs, but was held to .068 hitting percentage. White posted a team-high 13 digs.

Lacey Adkisson tallied 12 kills, while Desiree Reed added 11 kills.

The Lady Buffs travel to Kingsville, Texas to take on Texas A&M-Kingsville, who played Eastern New Mexico Thursday.
