EDMOND, Okla. - The Lady Buffs (21-3, 5-0 LSC) continue to be strong in Lone Star Conference play as they swept Central Oklahoma (10-16, 3-4 LSC) with scores of 25-21, 25-14, and 25-17. WT had three players totaling 10 or more kills and also tallied six team blocks.

Sophomore Lauren Thedford led the team in kills with 11 in 33 attempts for a hitting percentage of .303.  Thedford also contributed one solo block, one block assist, and one service ace to lead the team in scoring.  Junior Melissa Harper put down 10 kills in 16 attempts, leading the team in hitting percentage with .562.  Junior Laura Prinsen also tallied 10 kills and had three block assists.  Setter Katie Rickwartz recorded 36 assists and led the team to a hitting percentage of .314.

The Lady Buffs take on Southwestern Oklahoma on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 12:00 p.m. CT in Weatherford, Okla.
