Final Stats

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The #5-ranked Lady Buffs (12-2, 0-0 LSC) faced Saint Leo (12-3) in a battle that lasted through five sets, scoring 20-25, 25-18, 20-15, 25-21, and 17-15. At one point, WT was down 9-12 in the fifth set, but never gave up and won the match.

Junior Laura Prinsen had one of her best matches of the season, putting down 23 total kills and contributing four block assists. Junior Katie Rickwartz totaled 56 assists, two service aces, and six kills. She also tallied 20 digs, right behind senior Sara Contreras with 21 digs. The Lady Buffs managed to create some opportunities on offense despite the 18.5 blocks put up by Saint Leo.

WT will play one final match in Florida, taking on Eckerd College at 6:00 p.m.
