The 21st-ranked West Texas A&M University volleyball team swept St. Edward's, 3-0 (30-20, 30-23, 30-19), Saturday at the Heartland/LSC Crossover Tournament, at Lawton, Okla., hosted by Cameron University.

Freshman outside hitter Jessica Scherr led the Lady Buffs with 15 kills and 14 digs, while fellow freshman, middle blocker Ambra Clark added 12 kills. Senior setter Kendra Morgan dished out 40 assists. Three Lady Buffs had 12 digs apiece.

WTAMU hit .298 for the match, to improve to 10-5 on the year.

The Lady Buffs end their month-long road trip next weekend (Sept. 26-27) at the LSC Crossover Tournament at Wichita Falls, Texas, hosted by Midwestern State University.
