The West Texas A&M University volleyball team ended the Alamo Classic Tournament today with a win against Incarnate Word, 3-2 (27-30, 35-33, 30-27, 22-30, 15-9).

The Lady Buffs, who are ranked No. 17 in the AVCA Top 25 Poll, were led by senior setter Kendra Morgan's third triple-double of the season and second of the week. Morgan had 13 kills, 51 assists and 23 digs in the match. She was the first Lady Buff to record a triple-double in school history, when she did so in the match vs. Grand Valley State in the opening weekend. Morgan recorded her second triple-double in WT's five-game win over Lubbock Christian Tuesday.

Freshman middle blocker Ambra Clark led the Lady Buffs with 15 kills, while fellow freshman, outside hitter Jessica Scherr tallied 14 kills and 23 digs. Sophomore middle blocker Cynthia Carter added 11 kills. Senior libero Kacie Hyatt had a team-high 26 digs.

WT improves to 8-4 on the year and will travel to Lawton, Okla. next Friday and Saturday (Sept. 19-20) to compete in the Heartland-Lone Star Conference Crossover. The Lady Buffs open the tournament Friday at 12:30 p.m. when they take on No. 19 Rockhurst, in a rematch of last years NCAA-II Southwest Region Championship.
