The ninth-ranked West Texas A&M University volleyball team edged Mesa State University, 3-2, Friday afternoon at the Division II Colorado Premier Challenge in Denver, Colo.

The win puts the Lady Buffs at 5-0, heading into Friday's late match against third-ranked Truman State University. TSU, who eliminated WTAMU from the Elite Eight last year, defeated Mesa State, 3-1, earlier Friday afternoon.
