GENERAL

First-year player... joins the WTAMU program from Santa Clara, Calif., where she attended Wilcox High School... talented athlete with a bright future as a Lady Buff... expected to compete for significant playing time this season... gives WTAMU added talent and support on the back row as the Lady Buffs challenge for a national title.

HIGH SCHOOL

Quetano was a four-year starter for Adrian C. Wilcox High School, where she was an All-League and co-MVP... played club volleyball for the Point Break 17-1 and was the team captain... received the Thomas Keech Award and was on the Principal's Honor Roll.

LADY BUFF BITS

Quetano is the third Californian to join the Lady Buffs in as many years (Cynthia Carter and Jackie Stogdell are the others).

COACH GRAYSTONE SAYS

"Although Traci was an accomplished setter in high school, she will primarily be a defensive player at WT. With some of the losses from last year's squad, she will have an opportunity to play an important role for us. Traci has a great personality and will add a lot to the overall character of our team."
