GENERAL

First-year player... joins the Lady Buffs from Pius X High School in Lincoln, Neb.... talented prospect who is expected to make an immediate impact for the Lady Buffs... heir incumbent to replacing All-American Kendra Morgan at the setter position and lead WTAMU's pursuit of a trip to the Elite Eight.

HIGH SCHOOL

Houlihan played setter for Pius X High School, leading the Thunderbolts to the second round of the Nebraska State Class B Championships... set a single-season assists record for Class B... nominated to play in the Nebraska Coaches Association All-Star Match... a Sertoma Award recipient... played for the Nebraska Juniors... had a 4.0 GPA and was a member of the National Honor Society.

Houlihan is one of two Nebraskans on the team (The other is senior defensive specialist Katie Starkweather).
