GENERAL

Third-year player... has shown continued improvement over her two years in the Lady Buff program... only one of two WTAMU players with Elite Eight experience... expected to give WTAMU veteran leadership and knowledge... selected as a team captain... anticipated starter at the libero position, where she will provide stability in the Lady Buffs' pursuit of a national championship.

2003 AT WTAMU

Saw action in all 37 matches and 136 games... fourth on team with 440 digs (3.24 dpg) and fourth on team with 19 service aces... posted career-high 25 digs in win over Cameron on Sept. 27... had 22 matches with double-digit digs, including two streaks of four-straight matches, one of which was part of six in the final eight matches... tallied at least four digs in every match played... recorded career-high three kills in loss to North Dakota State on Sept. 6.

2002 AT WTAMU

Saw action in 37 matches and 122 games... set her career-high with 19 digs in a four-game win over Incarnate Word on Oct. 19... logged 10 or more digs in nine matches... recorded at least three digs in every match played... fourth on the team with 2.29 digs per game average... tallied a career-high three service aces twice, in a sweep over Arkansas Tech on Aug. 31, and in a sweep over Texas A&M-Commerce on Nov. 15... registered a career-high six assists in four-game win over Eastern New Mexico on Oct. 15.

HIGH SCHOOL

Named District 3-5A Defensive Player of the Year during high school... also awarded the Fighting Heart Award, as well as receiving the Hugh Sticksel Memorial Scholarship Award.

LADY BUFF BITS

Bell played defensive specialist for the Amarillo JO's club team and was coached by WTAMU head coach Tony Graystone.

"Brittani had another solid season, and spent all spring changing positions and training to take over the libero position. She also stepped up as a team leader, as was one of our spring captians. Brittani is more than ready to handle these added responsibilities."
