2009: Henderson started in all 55 games during her sophomore season and topped the Lady Buff season leader board in hits (71), batting average (.410), runs scored (58) and stolen bases (22). She emerged as the Lady Buffs biggest base-stealing threat, stealing 22 bases on 24 attempts. Henderson tallied five doubles, two triples and 37 RBIs in 173 at-bats. As the every day right fielder for the Lady Buffs, Henderson boasted a .925 fielding percentage along with a total of 45 putouts. She boasted her best defensive performance of the season during a Feb. 14 match against Texas A&M-International totaling three put-outs and one assist. At the plate, Henderson went 4-for-5 on March 7, scoring two runs with a pair of RBIs as WT dropped Texas Woman's. She drove in a season high four runs on April 9 against Incarnate Word. At season's end, Henderson was named to the 2009 Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division II All-America first team as well as the Daktronics All-South Central Region first team. She also earned All-LSC South Division first team honors as well as LSC Newcomer of the Year.

High School: Henderson attended Katy (Texas) HS where she played center field and was first team all-conference in in 2008. She was first team all-State in 2007, while leading her team to the state semifinals. Henderson was named first team all-state by the Texas Sports Writers Association in 2007. Henderson was also named first team all-Greater Houston by the Houston Chronicle in both 2006 and 2007. She was a Katy Courier first team all-Greater Katy in 2006, as well as a first team all-district selection in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

Personal: Henderson is the daughter of Sam and Pat Henderson. She has two siblings, Christin and Jennifer. Henderson is majoring in General Studies at WTAMU.
