CANYON, Texas - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced its All-Midwest Region Team on Tuesday. Three West Texas A&M women's soccer athletes were named NSCAA Midwest Region First Team, senior forward Sarit Shenar, freshmen midfielder Adi Stein and defender Kayla Sisco.

Shenar, who tied for fifth in the NCAA Division II with 22 goals this season, has already been named Daktronics Midwest Region First Team, Lone Star Conference Offensive and Academic Player of the Year and ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VI First Team.

Stein, in the 2006 post season, was named to the LSC First Team and co-Freshman of the Year after scoring four goals and tallying seven assists. She helped lead an offense that scored 66 goals, which ranked fourth in Division II.

After being only one of two Lady Buffs to start and play in all 19 matches in 2006, Sisco helped lead a defense that was ranked second in goals allowed per game (1.00) in the LSC. Sisco also helped lead the back four of the Lady Buffs to a .098 goal against average, which was fourth in the conference.

The NSCAA will announce its all-American team on Friday, with WTAMU looking for its third ever all-American in women's soccer. Kathy Clutterbuck was named third team all-America 1999, and was followed by Shenar, who took home first team honors in 2004.
