CANYON, Texas - The #7 West Texas A&M women's soccer team will be at home at The Pitch again this weekend, as they host the NCAA South Central Regional Tournament on November 13 and 15 at The Pitch in Canyon, Texas. WT was awarded the top seed in the South Central Region annopunced earlier this evening on NCAA.com.

West Texas A&M (14-2-3) has received a first round bye and will await the winner of Truman State (14-3-3) and Nebraska-Omaha (13-5-2) on Friday at 12:00 p.m. The winner of TSU/UNO will face the Lady Buffs on Sunday, Nov. 15 in the Regional Championship at 1:00 p.m.

“It’s a great compliment to our coaching staff and players to be hosting the South Central Region Tournament, It’s our fourth consecutive appearance in the NCAA postseason and our girls deserve every bit of it” said WT head coach Butch Lauffer “We feel that we’re really tough at home, and I think it’s a big advantage due to us being accustomed to the weather conditions and our crowd being so loyal.”
