CANYON, Texas - West Texas A&M senior forward Sarit Shenar (Rehovot, Israel), junior forward Rene Gomez (Houston, Texas) and freshman goalkeeper Lisha Jungmann (San Antonio, Texas) were named Offensive Athletes of the Week and Goalie of the Week respectively by the Lone Star and Southwest Soccer Conference's.

Shenar recorded a hat trick on Saturday against Eastern New Mexico and scored a late goal against St. Mary's on an indirect kick. Her first goal against Eastern New Mexico helped secure the 4-1 victory. Shenar leads the LSC with 14 goals, 33 points and is tied with five assists.

Jungmann made seven saves in two wins for the Lady Buffs last week, while allowing just one goal late in the victory over Eastern New Mexico. The five saves she made against St. Mary's was her third highest total of the season.

On the men's side, Gomez scored five goals in two matches last week against St. Mary's and Missouri Southern. With four goals against St. Mary's, Gomez tied the school record previously held by Ian Lynch. Gomez picked up the game-winner in both the St. Mary's and Missouri Southern matches.

On the Wednesday, WTAMU will host Eastern New Mexico and Friday they welcome Midwestern State. The No. 10 Lady Buffs will be on the road against Angelo State Thursday.
