CANYON, Texas - West Texas A&M's sophomore goalkeeper Lisha Jungmann has been named the Lone Star Conference's Defensive Player of the Week. The San Antonio native helped the Lady Buffs improve to 4-1 on the season as she made six saves on six shots faced in a 2-0 win over St. Mary's on Saturday.

With the win, she tallied her third shutout of the season, improved her overall goals against average to 1.00 and improved her overall save percentage to .821.

The Lady Buffs' next action is tomorrow when they host the Texas Wesleyan Lady Rams at The Pitch at 4:30 p.m.
