CANYON, Texas - The Lone Star Conference named senior Sarit Shenar (Rehovot, Israel) Offensive Player of the Week, while the Southwest Soccer Conference named freshman JJ Craddock (Amarillo, Texas) Goalie of the Week, for the week of Aug. 28 thru Sept. 3.

Shenar scored five goals last week, including three game-winners and three assists in three victories for the Lady Buffs. She scored the second goal of the 3-1 win over Ft. Lewis right before halftime, the second goal of the 7-1 victory over UT-Permian Basin and the first goal of the shutout win over Texas Wesleyan.

Craddock meanwhile, allowed one goal in a split week for the Buffaloes, making 12 saves in 13 chances. WT won the first match of the week 3-0 over UT-Permian Basin before falling to Midwestern State 1-0 on Sept. 3 in the SSC opener.

The men's soccer team will be back in action tomorrow, as they travel to San Antonio to take on Incarnate Word at 7 p.m., while the women will play Incarnate Word on Saturday at 5 p.m.
