EDMOND, Okla. - In the 93rd minute of play, the West Texas A&M women's soccer team fell to Texas A&M-Commerce by a score of 2-1 on Friday afternoon in semifinal action at the Lone Star Conference Tournament.

The Lady Buffs had 11 shots on the day with five landing on goal, while the Lions took nine shots with four on goal. After the Lions tallied a goal just before intermission to take a 1-0 halftime lead, sophomore Sally deJongh (Amarillo, Texas) knotted the game at 1-1 in the 65th minute with her third career goal off a pass from freshman Brianna McMillian (Amarillo, Texas).

Texas A&M-Commerce got the game-winner from Meagan Lasley at the 92:34 mark of the overtime period, allowing the Lions to advance to Sunday's LSC Tournament Championship match.

With the loss, WTAMU falls to 14-3-1 on the season, while Commerce improves to 12-7-3 on the year. The Lady Buffs will now have to wait until Monday to find out their NCAA Tournament fate; the announcement will be made at 4 p.m. local time on www.ncaasports.com.
