CANYON, Texas - The West Texas A&M women’s soccer team tied with Abilene Christian 0-0 Sunday, Oct. 25 at the Pitch in Canyon, Texas in front of 202 fans.

The tie moves the Lady Buff record to 11-2-2 (4-2-1 LSC) and brings the Wildcats to 10-5-2 (5-2-2 LSC).

The game was an intense offensive struggle as neither team was able to score, sending the Lady Buffs and Wildcats into overtime.

The teams battled it out in overtime with no avail. They entered into double-overtime scoreless and were yet again unable to score.

Kayla Sisco (SR, Amarillo, Texas) took the most shots for the Lady Buffs with five and also had the most shots on goal with two.

The Lady Buffs took twice as many shots as the Wildcats with twelve. The Wildcats tallied six shots for the game. Abilene Christian tallied six saves while West Texas A&M had two.

The Lady Buffs travel to Tahlequah, Oklahoma to face Northeastern State on Friday, Oct. 30 at 2:00 p.m. CT.
