CANYON, Texas - West Texas A&M overcame Southwestern Oklahoma 4-0 Sunday, in women's soccer action, at the Pitch in Canyon, Texas.

This win improves the Lady Buff record to 8-1-1 (2-1 LSC) and drops Southwestern Oklahoma to 3-7-1 (0-3 LSC).

Lindsay McHorse (SO, Georgetown, Texas) scored the first goal from one yard assisted by Miriam Dominguez (SR, El Paso, Texas).

Reem Moussa (FR, Abu-Snan, Israel) scored on a breakaway goal against the Bulldog goalie, Katie Mahoney, and brought the score to 2-1, on an assist by McHorse.

Taylor Cromeens (JR, El Paso, Texas) blasted in a shot from eight yards assisted by McHorse in the 34^th minute of play.

Becky Hewson (SO, Cambridge, England) wrapped up the scoring with a goal in the 84^th minute, bringing the score to 4-0 assisted by Moussa.

The Lady Buffs travel to Commerce, Texas, on October 9 to face Texas A&M-Commerce at 7:00 p.m. CT.
