PORTALES, New Mexico - The Lady Buffs were defeated Saturday, September 26 in Portales, New Mexico when they faced off against the Eastern New Mexico Zias 1-0 in front of 245 fans. The loss drops the Lady Buffs to a 6-1-1 record and propels the Zias to 5-4.

Brittany Bustos scored the one and only goal of the game off of a cross pass from the left side from Danielle Thurman in the 32^nd minute.

Sierra Cardenas grabbed the win in goal for the Zias with two saves in her 90 minutes of playing time.

The Lady Buffs will play Central Oklahoma on Saturday, October 2 at the Pitch in Canyon at 2:00 p.m. CT.
