The West Texas A&M University women's golf team will tee of the 2005 season on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 19-20, by playing in the Northeastern State University Women's Golf Classic at Muskogee Country Club at Muskogee, Okla.

This will be the Lady Buffs' season debut under new head coach Meredith Easley, who took over the program after Brad Borden resigned last month.

Easley becomes coach after a splendid three-year career for the Lady Buffs, in which she was a two-time All-American, competing in the National Championships twice in her three years at WTAMU, as well as receiving numerous academic honors.

The Lady Buffs return three players, senior Rachel Clark, junior Beth Ann Nussbaum, and sophomore Madison Easley from last year's team that finished third at the LSC Championships.
