The Lone Star Conference announced the 2006 women's golf awards Monday, and West Texas A&M University had four individuals win honors.

Senior Rachel Clark was selected to second team All-LSC, while sophomore Madison Easley and freshman Brittyne Lewis were selected for honorable mention.

Junior Beth Nussbaum was selected to the Commissioner's All-Academic Honor Roll after posting a 3.378 GPA. Nussbaum is a marketing major at WTAMU and has played in five tournaments for the Lady Buffs this season. Her top finish of the year was seventh in the WTAMU Subway Invitational, with her lowest round of the year coming in that tournament with a 79.

University of Central Oklahoma golfers Ashley Kelley was named LSC Player of the Year. UCO was well-represented on both the women's and men's all-conference lists, with Patty Coatney winning women's Coach of the Year honors and Dax Johnston doing the same on the men's side. Additionally, UCO's Emily Kirk was named women's Freshman of the Year.
