The West Texas A&M University women's golf team finished seventh as a team in the Lone Star Conference Championship Tournament Tuesday.

Northeastern State swept both the men's and women's titles at the LSC Golf Championships as play wrapped up Tuesday at the Trophy Club Country Club near Roanoke, Texas.
It is the first time an LSC member institution has swept both the men's and women's golf titles in the same season. This marks the second straight LSC crown for NSU's men, while NSU's women notched their fifth league trophy after winning the LSC titles in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002.
NSU's men defeated Central Oklahoma in a sudden-death playoff to claim the men's team championship, while the Lady Reds cruised to a 14-stroke victory on the women's side.
UCO's Todd Dayton shot five-under for three rounds and claimed LSC medalist honors by beating Cameron's Owen Mahaffey in a one-hole, sudden-death playoff. NSU's Allison Toomer shot four-over for two rounds to win LSC women's medalist honors.
