Final Stats

SAN ANGELO, Texas – The West Texas A&M women’s golf team earned a fourth-place finish at the ASU Make-Up, hosted by San Angelo, October 19-20 at the San Angelo Country Club. 

The Lady Buffs shot two-day scores of 639 (320, 319), finishing 31 shots back of team champion Angelo State, who shot 608 (300, 308) on the par 71, 5,848-yard course.

Angelo State’s Raelyn Smith took top individual honors, with a score of 143 (70, 73).

Leading the Lady Buffs was Sara Coe (So., Amarillo, Texas), who shot rounds of 77 and 78 to total 155 and finish in a tie for eighth place. Stephanie Kalapach (Fr., Saginaw, Texas) placed in a tie for 13th, shooting 158 (82, 76). She was followed by Hammerli Sriyai (So., Bangkok, Thailand), who shot 163 (79, 84) to finish in a tie for 18th. Mollie Peterson (Sr., Texico, N.M.) and Eva Rogers (Jr., Rockledge, Fla.) tied for 23^rd, with each shooting a 166. Peterson shot 85 and 81, while Rogers shot 82 and 84.
