ALAMOSA, Colo. - With an exciting intersquad playoff deciding sophomore Mollie Peterson's first place finish, the West Texas A&M women's golf team won the Grizzly Invitational/RMAC #3 on Tuesday afternoon. The Lady Buffs shot a team total of 620 in the two-day, par 71 tournament hosted by Adams State.

Peterson and teammate Stephanie Boldger each shot a combined 150 to force a playoff to decide the individual winner, with Peterson emerging victorious on the second hole.

Peterson shot a 75 in each round while Boldger shot a 73 in round one and a 77 in round two.

Sophomore Whitney Osborne finished tied for ninth place with a 161 (75, 86), while senior Madison Easley tied for 12th place with a 162 (81, 81). Sophomore Kaylee Zaiontz tied for 19th place with a 168 (85, 83).

WTAMU's next tournament is the Broncho Fall Classic, hosted by Central Oklahoma on Oct. 8-9 in Edmond, Okla.
