Final Stats

AMARILLO, Texas - The West Texas A&M women's golf team placed fifth, with final score of 626 (328,328), at the Lady Buff Stampede at the La Paloma Golf Club in Amarillo, Texas.

WTAMU was 19 strokes behind the team winner, Tarleton State.

Tarleton's Jacqueline Lau and Newman's Linzi Allan tied with a 156 to win the individual title.

WT's Hammerli Sriyai (So., Bangkok, Thailand) shot a two day total of 161 (78,83) to place in a tie for eighth among individual scorers. Mollie Peterson (Sr., Texico, N.M) shot a 165 (82,83) to tie for 20th. Following one stroke behind Peterson was Eva Rogers (Jr., Rockledge, Fla.) and Whitney Osborne (Sr., Amarillo, Texas) who both concluded the tournament with a 166, which was good for a tie at 22nd.

Rounding out the Lady Buffs' scoring was Sara Coe (So., Amarillo, Texas), who had two-day total of 171 and a second round score of 81, to tie for 34th.

The Lady Buffs next tournament is in Duncan, Okla., at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate at the The Territory Golf and Country Club.
