Final Stats

PONTE VERDA, Fla. - The West Texas A&M women's golf team shaved ten strokes off its round-one total during the second day of play (335-325) at the Queens Invitational, held at TPC Sawgrass. The Lady Buff finished with a two-day total of 660.

The top individual for the Lady Buffs was Hammerli Sriyai (So., Bangkok, Thailand), who was in a six-way tie for 20th place, with a 160. Following four strokes behind was Sara Coe (So., Amarillo, Texas), who shot 164.

Stephanie Kalapach (Fr., Saginaw, Texas) tied for 37th with a two-day total of 167, while Whitney Osborne (Sr., Amarillo, Texas) shot a 171, tying for 51st. Rounding out the Lady Buff finisher was Mollie Peterson (Sr., Texico, N.M.), who placed in a 61st after shooting a 176.

Eva Rogers (Jr., Rockledge, Fla.) competed individually and tied for 35th and shot 166.

Ashland took top team honors in the 15-team field with a 626 (311-315), while Ashland's Erin Misheff took top individual honors with a 142. The

Lady Buffs next outing will be September 28th and 29th when they host the West Texas A&M Lady Buff Stampede, to be held at the La Paloma Golf Club in Amarillo, Texas.
