TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - The West Texas A&M women's golf team finished in seventh place overall in a field of 16 at the end of day one of the 9th Annual Northeastern State Women's Classic. Sophomore Mollie Peterson led the way for the Lady Buffs, shooting an 80 and tying for 19th place individually.

Sophomore Whitney Osborne shot an 84 (T-28th), senior Madison Easley and sophomore Christal Kendrick both shot 85s (T-33rd) and junior Stephanie Boldger shot an 87 (T-44th).

The tournament will conclude tomorrow, with tee times starting at 8:00 a.m.
