After a three-week break, the West Texas A&M University Equestrian team will compete in the Zone Championship Show Saturday, hosted by Oklahoma State University, in Stillwater, Okla. The show will consist of both Western and Hunter disciplines battling to capture first or second place to qualify for the Intercollegiate National Horse Show.

There will be seven Lady Buff riders from both disciplines who are participating in the Zone Show. The Hunt Seat riders include senior Open rider Meghan Mackey, sophomore Novice rider Catherine Brown, junior Intermediate rider JoAnna Pazderny, and sophomore Walk-Trot-Canter rider Stefanie Gilbert. Along with their hunt seat counterparts, the Western team will include sophomore Advanced rider Krissy Mailman, junior Novice rider Courtney Douglas, and freshman Open rider Amy Thompson.

The Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Show will be in Harrisburg, Pa., May 4-7.
