LSC Basketball Championship Games to Air Live

RICHARDSON, Texas - The Lone Star Conference Basketball Championship next week will be broadcast live via internet video streaming at www.LSClive.tv, league officials announced this week. All 14 championship games are going to be aired live, starting with the men's first-round games at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, from Bruin Field House in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The webcasts are available on a pay-per-view basis for only $5.50 per game or a tournament pass can be purchased. A pass for all seven men's or women's games is $21.99, while a pass for all 14 games is $36.99. Each webcast includes both video and audio, with viewers needing only a computer with high-speed DSL or cable modem connection to the internet. Long-time broadcaster David Garrett has the call for all the games. Garrett is a 32-year veteran of radio and television broadcasting, including a three-year stint doing play-by-play for the Dallas Cowboys and a two-year run as voice of the New Orleans Saints. He is also host and producer of "The Home Stretch" afternoon call-in sports show from 4-7 p.m. on Fox SportsRadio (1340 AM), one of Oklahoma's premiere all-sports radio stations. Live statistics of all 14 championship games will also be available at www.lonestarconference.org. The LSC tournament will feature eight men's and eight women's teams and is scheduled for an exciting five-day run from March 5-9. Action starts with men's first-round games on Wednesday, March 5, while women's first-round action begins Thursday, March 6. Men's semifinals will be played Friday, March 7. On Saturday, March 8, fans can see women's semifinals played in the afternoon and the men's championship that night. The festivities conclude Sunday afternoon, March 9, with the women's championship game.
