WTAMU returns home for a two-game homestand, opening Thursday, Jan. 29, with nationally-ranked and defending LSC South champion, Angelo State University in a key LSC South contest. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. at the WTAMU Event Center.

The Lady Buffs continue their homestand on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 6 p.m., hosting Abilene Christian University, ironically the team to snap WTAMU's 14-game win streak in 1999. WTAMU has not defeated ACU at the Event Center, as the Wildcats are 2-0, winning the opening game on Jan. 26, 2002. The Wildcats also beat the Lady Buffs last year on Feb. 20, 2003, the last time that WTAMU lost at home.

JJ Jumper, the NCAA Basketball official mascot, will be at the WTAMU Event Center on Saturday for the ACU game.
