2006-2007 (Sophomore):
In her sophomore campaign, Willis started in eight of 33 games played averaging 5.5 points per game. She tallied 5.2 rebounds per game and scored a team-high 23 points against Stonehill (in Orlando, Fla.) on November 5. She scored 10 points in 11 minutes in the 81-61 win over Midwestern State on January 27 and recorded six assists in the win over Central Oklahoma on January 4.

2005-2006 (Freshman):
Willis played in all 32 games, averaging 16.6 minutes per game and finished fifth on the team in field goals made (75) and free throws made (56). She was one of only eight Lady Buffs to pull down over 100 rebounds, finishing with 104.

High School:
Willis was a four-year starter for Odessa HS. As a senior, she led the Lady Bronchos to a 29-6 mark and the District 3-5A Championship, the first district title in program history. She earned District MVP honors after posting 13.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game, finishing second in the district in scoring and first in rebounding. Willis was a second-team All-District selection as a sophomore and honorable mention All-District honoree as a freshman and as a junior. She also was a three-year letterwinner in track, helping OHS to the District championship as a sophomore.

Majoring in communication disorders, Mariah is the daughter of Kirk and Mari Willis.
