Former Lady Buff standout Keisha Monroe will make the transition from player to coach this season, as a student assistant under Krista Gerlich.

Monore is one of the most decorated women's basketball athletes at West Texas A&M, as a senior named honorable mention All-American, named to the Lone Star Conference and South Central All-Tournament Team's. She was also tagged All-LSC First Team and All-South Central Region Team.

In high school, Monroe was named All-District for three seasons, lettered in basketball all four year's and as a senior she led the district in rebounding.

Monore will graduate is December with a degree in international business, and then proceed on to her master's degree in January.
