In her first season with the Lady Buffs, Johnson was a go-to player at the post position. She shot 37-94 from field goal range for a 39.4% shooting clip. From the freethrow line, Johnson was 24-33 (72.7%). She averaged 3.3 points per game and 2.8 rebounds per game. She pulled down 85 total rebounds, 39 offensive boards and 46 defensive boards. Johnson tallied double-digit points in three games, her best performance against Angelo State where she recorded 14 points. She also registered six rebounds against Abilene Christian.

Johnson played power forward for Ohlone Community College before transferring to WT. She helped lead her team to a Coast Conference championship in 2007 and graduated with a degree in general studies.

Johnson attended Albany High in Albany, Calif. She played power forward and center, and was named the best defensive player on her team.

Ceciley is the daughter of Kim Richardson and Bruce Johnson and has three siblings. She is currently a general studies major.
