CANYON, Texas - West Texas A&M head track & field coach, Darren Flowers, has announced the signing of 13 high school standouts to letters-of-intent to attend WTAMU in the fall of 2009 and participate in track & field. This brings the total number of incoming student-athletes signed for next season to 27.

"We will have a great mix of young talent and we hope to build a very well-balanced team next year," said Coach Flowers. "We have met our recruiting goals for this first year, but we would like to sign a few more student-athletes before the fall. I think we have an outstanding group that will help establish WT's track and field program as a national contender."
